Chapter member Ted Mataxis Jr., gave an impactful presentation about his father's life and military service. Ted honored his father, Army Brigadier General (Ret) Theodore C. Mataxis, by writing a book entitled, Ride the Sound of the Guns, and presenting his father's military service during the luncheon.

The September luncheon will be held at the Pine Crest Inn on 16 September, starting at 1130 hours. Lunch menu choices are below:
(1) Salmon ... this is a favorite w/our attendees.
(2) Grilled Picnic Pork Chops ... usually our 2nd place finisher.
(3) Chicken (Fried or Parmesan)
(4) Mixed Greens or Caesar w/grilled chicken or shrimp ... a new selection.
PCI choice of potato dish and a vegetable in season.
PCI house salad and fresh baked biscuit.
Dessert, iced tea/coffee, bar available
