The Sandhills Chapter of the Military Officer’s Association of America (MOAA) conducted its annual Veterans Day Service at the Community Presbyterian Church in Pinehurst on November 11, 2024 from noon to 1:00 pm. Opening music began with the 82nd Airborne Brass Quintet. Invocation and Benediction were delivered by Reverend Rod Stone. The keynote address was made by Chaplain (Major) Christopher Schafer, followed by the annual Quilts of Valor presentation.
