The MOAA Sandhills Chapter will hold the Annual Meeting and Election of officers on 19 November 2024 at the Pine Crest Inn.

The MOAA Sandhills Chapter will host the 3rd Annual Ralph Jacobson Memorial Putting Challenge on 7 November 2024 at the Pinehurst Country Club. The Chapters welcomes MOAA members and non-members to participate. Donors are welcome to sponsor the event. The purpose of the Annual JROTC Scholarship Awards Dinner is to recognize outstanding cadets from the eight JROTC schools in our catchment area. The scholarship is designed to reward the cadet's effort, performance, and potential with an opportunity to assist the cadet in his/her first year of higher education, whatever that may be. Location is Pinehurst No. 9 Clubhouse.

Our March Membership will be held on 12 March starting at 1130 hours. Pine Crest Inn.

Chapter members will honor fallen veterans buried at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery by laying wreaths at grave markers following a formal one hour ceremony.

Time to celebrate the Christmas and Hanukkah season.

The purpose of the annual meeting is to present a slate of Officers and Directors for consideration, solicit nominees from members present, and vote on the final slate of Officers and Directors to be installed at the January 2024 General Meeting.

The MOAA Sandhills Chapter conducted its annual Veterans Day Service on 11 November 2023, this year at the Southern Pines United Methodist Church. Rear Admiral Cliff Sharpe, USN (Ret) delivered the address to attendees at the event.

The Annual Putting Challenge will take place starting at 0900 hours at the Pinehurst Country Club, Thistle Dhu.
